How to Have a Strong Support System at Home or on the Road.

2.) The Promoter – Having your spouse be your store promoter is a fun way to get people on the truck! Matco will provide you with promotional flyers, but finding creative ways to get technicians out to the truck doesn’t hurt. Some spouses bake treats while others run fun contests on their truck and business Facebook page. No one can turn down free cookies or prizes!
3.) The Book Keeper – Some spouses prefer to stay behind the scenes instead of being face-to-face with customers. As a Matco Tools franchisee, you’re responsible for making your sales, keeping your inventory stocked and up-to-date, maintaining customer relationships, growing your business and taking care of your finances. Although Matco provides you with the tools and software to make this an easy process, this task still takes time.
Your spouse can keep the finances organized while you focus time on the other business duties at hand.
4.) The Facility Manager – There are many daily tasks to accomplish, so you may need some extra help. Your spouse can assist in keeping track of inventory and ordering new products. They can also help you tidy the truck and keep it in tip top shape. Your customers are likely to buy from a store that is organized, because they can easily see all of your products.
5.) The Sales Team – Some spouses want to hit the road with you and help sell tools! Having a partner that rides along with you in the truck and hands out the promotional flyers at the shops is a great help. Whatever he/she chooses to do, your spouse can be your best business tool on your route.
